The Staffordshire Hoard is permanently on display at Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery and the Potteries Museum and Art Gallery. Occasionally some of the artefacts from the Hoard also go on display at other venues.

One Hoard, two Museums

The Staffordshire Hoard is owned by Birmingham City Council and Stoke-on-Trent City Council, and cared for by Birmingham Museums Trust and the Potteries Museum and Art Gallery, Stoke-on-Trent.

The Staffordshire Hoard is on permanent display at both Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery and the Potteries Museum and Art Gallery.

In order to see the Staffordshire Hoard to its fullest extent, it is advisable to visit both museums.

Artefacts from the Hoard will sometimes move between the two museums.

The Staffordshire Hoard is free to see at Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery and the Potteries Museum and Art Gallery.

Anglo-Saxon Kingdoms at the British Library

Some of artefacts from the Staffordshire Hoard feature in the Anglo-Saxon Kingdoms: Art, Word War exhibition at the British Library until 19th February 2019. This is a paying exhibition, members of the British Library go free.
